The IZ-14400MGT can remediate smoke, mold, or odors in a 400 sq. ft area in only 6 hours. You should still run this unit for 6 hours in smaller rooms however as it takes 6 hours at a "shock" (very high) ozone concentration to oxidize mold, smoke, and odors that have penetrated deep into fabrics and surfaces. Shock treatments will also kill small bugs and insects. You should always remove any live plants, pets, and sensitive electronic equipment from rooms being remediated for periods longer than 1 hour.
NOTE: Commercial ozone generators rent for around $150 per week. For this reason, this item is not returnable. It does come with a 5 year warranty however (excludes ozone element which is rated for 10,000 hrs, $40 to replace).

Disclaimer: Ozone in high concentrations irritates the lungs
unless it has something in the air to oxidize, for instance,
