Exposure
to welding fumes can result in eye, nose,
and throat irritation, fever, chills, headache,
nausea, shortness of breath, muscle pain,
and a metallic taste in the mouth. Chronic
exposure to welding fumes can result in respiratory
effects including coughing, wheezing, and
decreased pulmonary function.
The Allerair 9150 W and 9175 W fume extractors offers a solution to remove the fumes generated
by the welding process. Volume of air is calculated so as not to have an influence
on the quality of the welding. A four stage filtration system is based on 40
lbs of activated carbon to neutralize the chemicals and gases found in welding
fumes.
