Do hospitals use ozone shock treatments to serilize the operating rooms?

As long as I'm here I might as well ask.   Why would anyone want to put ozone in the air, even to "santize" their air while they're not home?    Also, I'm not sure hospitals use ozone to sterilize before and after an operation.  Can anyone working for a hospital comment on that, sounds like BS to me.

    Hello Alex,

Good to see you're still around.  Alex was one of  10 or so original posters a few years ago when we started this forum but we got nothing but spammers here so we shut this board down quickly only to re-open it here September of  08.

I know that we've sold our ozone machines to hospitals and they claimed that many hospitals use commercial ozone generators to sterilize operating rooms.  If anyone who works for a hospital can confirm, that would be great. I'll e-mail a few of our hospital clients and ask them to comment.  Mike
