    Amaircare Air Purifiers

I really like this air purifier line. They seal their HEPA filter air tight so that no air cab bypass the HEPA filter, thus, they filter 99.97 to 100% of particles vs. other HEPA machines that feature true HEPA filters but allow air to bypass the fitler because of poor seals.

The RoomAid is the best small bedroom air purifier we sell. ($147)  For larger rooms, the Amaircare 2500 is the best air purifier we sell ($289)   Amaircare and Airpura rate their HEPA media by sq. ft on one side of the filter vs. both sides. For instance, the Airpura I-600 has 100 sq. ft of HEPA media.  That translates into 200 sq. ft with other manufacturers.  Amaircare and Airpura also rate their carbon filters in lbs of actual carbon media, not the weight of the filter.  For instance, if a cabon-hepa filter weights 15 lbs, other manufacturers list their carbon filter as 15 lbs while the actual carbon content is only 9 lbs or so. Because there are no standards in the air filter industry, this is allowed to happen. We like the fact Amaircare and Airpura take a very conservative approach in listing thier product specifications.

If you bought you Amaircare product from us, feel free to give a review.  All others can ask questions. Thanks in advance for participating in this forum, and enjoy.
