Full Scan Organic Vapors This test will identify and estimate the concentration of each of the chemicals listed below:
***MANY OTHERS ARE AVAILABLE***
The above-mentioned chemicals may exist in the home or office. All compounds can be detected at the following levels: Exposure Time 8 Hours 24 Hours Organic Vapors Lower Limits 0.1 ppm 0.03 ppm Upper Limits 1000 ppm 300 ppm
Formaldehyde Vapor Lower Limits 0.005 ppm 0.002 ppm Upper Limits 1.5 ppm 0.5 ppm
This test will measure the actual concentration of petroleum-based solvents, such as Benzene, Toluene, Ethyl Benzene, Xylene and Hydrocarbons, in the series from Pentane to Dodecane. All compounds can be detected at levels below 0.03 ppm for a 24-hour test.
The Formaldehyde Vapor Monitor test measures the concentration of formaldehyde levels in indoor air. It will measure below 0.005 ppm (6 micrograms/cubic meter of air) when it is used for a 24-hour period.
In indoor air, the formaldehyde vapor is associated with wood products and with fabric coatings. The EPA and the American Lung Association recommend a maximum safe level of 0.1 ppm. However, some people may be sensitive to lower levels.
